Fingerboard puzzle is a great teaching aid that opens up several fun activities for learning and practicing notes on the fingerboard. Use with 1 inch alphabet pieces to identify the different fingerings and notes on the violin. Use the fingerboard puzzle to practice finger patterns for different pieces or scales. Teach about whole and half steps, naturals, sharps and flats, plus all other intervals. Play a note on your instrument or pull a note flashcard and have students find and mark the corresponding finger position on the fingerboard.
